摘要: The sustained growth of the global routing table is exerting an economical strain on ISPs by requiring untimely router upgrades. Notably, it has been speculated that rate FIBs surpassing its supporting technology and deployment IPv6 only to make matters worse. In this paper, we propose LISP-MPS, architecture based LISP, isolates intra-domain Autonomous System (AS) from inter-domain routing. resulting separation implies decrease backbone sizes enables AS control forwarding traffic inside network. For a seamless, cost effective, incremental deployment, LISP-MPS leverages iBGP implement LISP mapping system functionality with minimal modification small subset deployed equipment. Finally, analysis realistic topologies shows that, despite changing how packets transit network, does not lose resilience failures. Moreover, show can be viable alternative BGP/MPLS deployments due low implementation cost.
