摘要: We reviewed the biological and mechanical properties of porous hydroxyapatite (HA) compared to other synthetic materials. Computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) was also evaluated estimate its efficacy with clinical radiological assessments. A systematic search electronic literature database National Library Medicine (PubMed-MEDLINE) performed for articles published in English between January 1985 September 2013. The inclusion criteria were (1) histological evaluation biocompatibility osteoconductivity HA vivo vitro, (2) relation porosity, (3) comparison several biomaterials, (4) precision CAD/CAM techniques. had excellent vitro biomaterials. grafts are suitable milling finishing, depending on design. In computed tomography, is a more resorbable osteoconductive material than dense HA; however, strength decreases exponentially an increase porosity. Mechanical tests showed that scaffolds pore diameters ranging from 400 1200 μm compressive moduli within range human craniofacial trabecular bone. conclusion, using techniques preparing may graft stability reduce surgical operating time.
