摘要: A method and apparatus enables a computer system to recover from power failures, includes having UPS connected computer, the an RTC, driver, program stored in computer's memory. The has instructions for performing following steps: a) when source of AC fails, supplying computer; b) notifying shut down; c) just before shuts down, driver setting RTC wake-up time at prescribed future.
