摘要: The paper investigates the evacuation of passengers from commuter trains with a focus on reduced visibility due to smoke. Fire situations in trains, where smoke can obscure vision and have debilitating effect close geometry compartment allows occupants almost no space move away hazard area, require incorporation efficient mechanisms assist rapid egress. Due those risks two full-scale experiments were conducted newly released train presently used by Austrian Federal Railways, which participants partially subjected non-toxic findings trials highlighted number issues as for example possible design revisions, improvements signage system modifications acoustic announcement system.
