摘要: Forgiveness is a compelling Christian ideal. By contrast, to many philosophers it not clear that forgiveness should be endorsed as moral requirement; some argue unconditional morally wrong. Those who are required exercise can feel their own dignity and worthiness diminished by such requirement if insignificant recognition was given the harms they suffered victims.
