The surface energy budget and interannual variation of the annual total evaporation over a highland lake in Southwest China

摘要: The turbulence spectra and energy budget were investigated based on eddy covariance method over an open-water highland lake (Erhai Lake) in Southwest China. We estimated the annual total evaporation CO2 emission from lake, trend past few decades was also discussed. Due to large thermal inertia of water, surface water temperature lagged behind air temperature. Maximum lake-air difference about 4 °C had been observed November. Water profile measurements revealed that stratification not evident throughout year. cospectra wind speed roughly satisfied −2/3 −4/3 rule inertial subrange, respectively. w have a larger contribution higher frequencies than other variables. Obvious shifts peaks toward as atmospheric became more stable. acted heat sink March through June quickly released into atmosphere September December. Average balance closure for 80 % 2012. majorly source atmosphere, but weak sinks summer early fall. be 333.28 g C m−2 year−1. decreased due increased amount low cloud precipitation, with lower 1990s compared 1980s.
