摘要: The automotive industry is one of the biggest consumers polymer composites. Aside from good mechanical properties, composites have low mass, which positively affects overall vehicle weight reduction and improves energy efficiency. Although are used in various components, this paper focused on application bumper production. Two different composite plates with hybrid fiber layup were made; first plate a combination glass carbon fibers second aramid. For comparison, as cheaper variant, third was made only fibers. In two plates, epoxy resin matrix, while plate, polyester used. Polyurethane memory foams densities (60, 80, 100 kg/m3) thicknesses (10, 15, 20 mm) impact force absorbers. With factorial design experiments, it found that thickness foam main influence factor. Without use foam, composite, fibers, showed highest absorption, absorption achieved composite. measured glass/carbon 9319.11 ± 93.18 N. Minimum to amount 5143.19 237.65 N when combined foam. When using reduced by 30–48%, depending type
