摘要: Abstract Several methods, such as 3D image warping, have been employed to approximate the stereo effect from one without full physically based rendering. However, these methods cannot consider view dependence of highlight depiction, which can undermine effect. In this paper, a novel method that un-distorts warped highlights generated by warping reproduce plausible is proposed. The nonlinear patterns distortion are analyzed through thorough comparison and physical highlights. decomposed into basic general components, each modeled using mathematical function. Next, magnitude direction at point on an object surface estimated. Spherical approximation geometric shape used approximately describe object. magnitudes then obtained concept ‘coupled-sphere’ geometry approximated shape. directional components estimated virtual-circle-tracing scheme, uses virtual circle passes obtain for tangent point. Using directions distortion, corrected produce surface. fully automatic computationally efficient. Experimental results indicate proposed greatly improves visual quality images.
