摘要: In this paper we present the dielectric and electrooptic investigations on single component ferroelectric liquid crystal 3-Octyloxy-6-[2-fluoro-4-(2-fluoro-octyloxy)phenyl]-pyridine (FFP), synthesized by E. Merck Company. The were performed in an ITO-cell with thickness of 900 nm. sample was aligned planarly. Under polarization microscope a Domain structure observed. threshold voltage for helix unwinding SmC* phase determined. The complex permittivity e* measured frequency range from 10 Hz up to MHz. Beside Goldstone mode, mode relaxation found spectra substance. Due small cell only one process, namely surface could be detected. BIAS field temperature dependent measurements process performed. order obtain characteristic strengths dispersion frequencies observed processes Havriliak-Negami equation fitted data obtained.
