摘要: The utilisation of conventional industrial converters for development doubly-fed induction generator (DFIG) test facilities poses an attractive prospect as it would provide proprietary commercial protection and functionality. However, standard present significant challenges in attainable DFIG operational capability. This is due to the fact that they are designed execution a limited set pre-programmed common control modes. They typically do not cater complicated stator flux-oriented vector (SFOC) schemes required drive control. research work presented this study reports methodology enables effective implementation SFOC on through dedicated external real-time platform velocity/position communication module. reported scheme validated laboratory experiments experimental test-rig facility. principles general therefore applicable architectures utilising converters.
