摘要: Simulation has been advocated as a useful training tool, and specific manikin simulators have developed for use in this role. Debriefing repetition identified key to achieving educational goals and, while the technical features of can influence simulation outcomes, their cost infrastructure requirements reduce suitability smaller healthcare facilities. We describe local solution using biomedical calibration machines modified basic manikins already available our institution form high-fidelity anaesthetic simulator at minimal cost. This was effective running high-fidelity, team-based situ simulations 'can't intubate, can't oxygenate' assessments trainees. Though equipment other centres may differ both availability or simulation, option we similar offer low-cost peripheral run limited scenarios on regular basis.
