摘要: Improved yield and biological efficiency (BE) of Pleurotus eryngii var. were achieved by supplementation substrate with a commercial delayed-release nutrient use casing overlay. Yield increases 14% from cased substrates that supplemented at time (Remo's). Use layer enhanced 141% over non-cased substrates. When combined, increased 179% non-cased/non-supplemented Mushrooms harvested darker in color solids contents lower compared to An additional break mushrooms was "spent" fragmenting re-supplementing the prior application Three production methods for their effect on mushroom yield: "standard", "casing" "casing after first break". Casing before ("casing" method) resulted highest efficiency.
