摘要: Since last few decades, multi sensor image fusion has been an emerging field of research in remote sensing, medical imaging and variety computer vision applications. The primary objective lies the formation a perceptually enhanced from several images using appropriate rule. discrete wavelet transform DWT-based techniques have popular due to less redundancy, low computations perfect reconstruction with short support filters. But, it suffers severely lack directionality, shift variance, oscillations aliasing problems. These issues overcome by means Q-shift dual-tree complex DT-CWT-based fusion. In this paper, improved technique proposed compose resultant better perceptual as well quantitative quality indices. A bilateral sharpness based weighting scheme implemented for high frequency coefficients taking both gradient its phase coherence account. normalised maximum is components. results demonstrate that more effective competitive terms entropy, total standard deviation, average measure edge intensity measure.
