摘要: OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to assess the variations in packing density, effective neck coverage, and angiographic outcome between aneurysm coiling alone with support Enterprise Vascular Reconstruction Device (VRD; Cordis Neurovascular, Inc., Miami Lakes, FL). Although use VRD-assisted is growing due availability better devices, little known about impact VRDs on aforesaid variables. METHODS: Ten groups two silicone models each were embolized detachable coils, one VRD without. Coil embolization ceased once microcatheter backed out or there a risk that further would lead coil herniation. Angiograms assessed using Raymond classification scale. Gross macroscopic images taken quantify defined as surface area fraction coils at divided by total area. Packing density calculated. RESULTS: significantly increased assistance (absolute increase, 10.5%; relative 31%; P < 0.0001, paired t test). Effective coverage 9% deployment (P 0.05, Angiographically, aneurysms coiled without more likely have dome remnant Fisher's exact test) prolapse into parent vessel. CONCLUSION: improves increases density. These results hypothesis reinforce cerebral may durable obliteration.
