摘要: Publisher Summary This chapter describes the preparation and properties of various types vesicle dispersion. Although many naturally occurring synthetic phospholipids can be used to form these dispersions, discussion is restricted egg phosphatidylcholine system. The use aqueous dispersions lamellar phospholipid systems in study structure, functions, components biological membranes has become widespread recent years. Within each liposome lipid organized into concentric bimolecular lamellae, separated from its neighbor by an interspersed lamella water. multicompartment character together with marked size heterogeneity this type make it difficult relate biologically relevant surface area lamellae. limitation avoided using a dispersion which liposomes are spherical vesicles, homogeneous size, comprised single continuous bilayer enclosing volume solution.
