摘要: Luminescent LaF3:Dy3+ and co-doped with Ce3+ have been successfully synthesized separately via co-precipitation method. Different ratios of ethylene glycol(EG)/water used for the synthesis whereas prepared only in glycol(EG) medium. The products characterized using powder X-ray diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), Fourier transform infra‐red (FT-IR) photoluminescence spectroscopy. XRD results show all samples to be well crystallized a pure hexagonal structure no impurity phases. Photoluminescence, lifetime decay energy transfer efficiency studies indicate existence an between Dy3+ ions, which increases increase ions concentration. nanophosphor EG:water mixture(1:1) showed highest luminescence intensity when compared those EG or water alone. This enhancement (when EG-water mixture) might related crystallinity/particle size as decrease agglomeration particles corresponding solvent mixture
