摘要: Aedes albopictus and Ae. japonicus are two of the most widespread invasive mosquito species that have recently become established in western Europe. Both associated with transmission a number serious diseases projected to continue their spread In present study, we modelled habitat suitability for both under current future climatic conditions by means an Ensemble forecasting approach. We additionally compared MAXENT niches regarding temperature precipitation requirements. were find suitable distinct areas within Europe: Mediterranean regions southern Europe, more temperate central Only few regions, overlap species. Whereas is be generally promoted climate change area climatically decrease change. This projection range reduction relies on assumption not able adapt warmer conditions. The found narrower optimum at lower temperatures albopictus. Species distribution models identifying high can help improving monitoring programmes currently place. However, as known new environmental invasion quickly, niche evolution should closely followed upon studies.
