摘要: The German Lower Palaeolithic is well known for its fossil remains of Mauer and Steinheim, famous archaeological sites at Bilzingsleben Schoningen. However, all these are dated to a maximum 600,000 years or much later. While the presence lead acceptance human occupation Germany Central Europe about 600 ka, earlier indications in form lithic assemblages sparse doubtful. For this paper, evidence was gathered from Early Middle Pleistocene sites. Seven with described.
