Numerical Investigation on Kinetic Parameter of Coal Devolatilization Reaction by Identifying Ignition Delay Parameter

摘要: Identifying the difference of ignition delay time between bituminous and lignite coals is main aim this research. Finding reaction mechanisms affecting this behaviour a key part investigation. Seven reaction mechanisms are used to represent coal combustion at particle level, this paper principally focuses on devolatilzation process for predicting time coal particle combustion. Two types namely PSOC 1451 and PSOC 1443 examined numerically, results are compared with experimental data. Existing kinetic parameters devolatilization R1 (Coal -> Coalvolatile + char) underestimates time which largely influenced by value pre-exponent factor (A) R1. Results giving best agreement the experiment obtained A= 3.12 x 105 9.36 107 1443, respectively.
