摘要: The adsorption of water molecules on an oxygen-predosed p(2×2)-Ni(111)–O surface was studied by x-ray diffraction and infrared reflection absorption spectroscopy (IRAS) at temperature 25 140K. Precise structures including adsorbed water, predosed oxygen, substrate nickel atoms these two temperatures were determined structural analysis. It found that adsorb oxygen additive sites, forming a hydrogen bond 25K. A 2×2 atom appears to accommodate one, two, or three positions relating threefold rotation symmetry. When the raised 140K, appear atop site Ni. distance between Ni monomer molecule be 0.2241(22)nm. induces buckling lateral shift nickel. IRAS results provided evidence regarding existence distinct sites. Water in low-tempe...
