Point clutter threshold determination for radar systems

摘要: An adaptive detection threshold system for moving target detector and indicator radar systems. The uses data from the echo input signal to reconstruct a level closely resembling output clutter residue in doppler filters due point sources. At least three azimuth values are used, with being adjacent coherent processing intervals separated distance approximately equal beamwidth of antenna system. at same range azimuths is combined form an estimate filter, assuming that caused by clutter. Compensation instability changes scan rate or interpulse period included. Data conventional constant false alarm designed control alarms distributed interference, such as weather echoes, also used compensate estimate.
