摘要: Although canine identification of body odor (BO) has been widely used as forensic evidence, the concept nosewitness by human observers was only recently put to test. The results indicated that BOs associated with male characters in authentic crime videos could later be identified BO lineup tests well above chance. To further evaluate memory, we assessed effects size (Experiment 1) and retention interval 2), using a forced-choice memory showed works for all sizes (3, 5 8 BOs), but larger lineups compromise performance similarity observations from eye- earwitness studies. Also line previous studies, disagreement some studies on Experiment 2 significant forgetting between shorter intervals (15 minutes) longer (1-week) BOs. Altogether this study shows setting is possible limits characteristics witness through other sensory modalities.
