摘要: Abstract The immunotoxic effects of the trichothecene vomitoxin (VT or deoxynivalenol) and other trichothecenes may be mediated by direct interaction with lymphocytes. In this study, flow cytometric cell cycle analysis was used in conjunction phenotypic staining specific fluorescein isothiocyanate antibody conjugates to assess vitro VT another protein synthesis inhibitor, cycloheximide (CHX), on apoptosis T- B-cell subsets within thymus, spleen Peyer's patch (PP) cultures. Both CHX markedly inhibited T-cell dexamethasone (9α-fluoro-16α-methylprednisolone)-induced (DEX + ) cells isolated from PP. Apoptosis-associated internucleosomal DNA fragmentation whole thymus lysates as measured gel electrophoresis qualitatively consistent cytometry among various treatment groups. induced untreated − T, B, IgA PP, whereas DEX-induced B these sources were negligible. These findings indicate that could either inhibit enhance programmed death a concentration-dependent manner dependent lymphocyte subset, tissue source glucocorticoid induction.
