摘要: A number of complex ocular motility disorders are discussed in this chapter. The diversity these conditions reflects the need for ophthalmologist to maintain a broad working knowledge pediatric neurologic along with their motor manifestations. Some clinical features (e.g., congenital apraxia, fibrosis syndrome) sufficiently unique that diagnosis can be established solely on basis appearance. Other either show overlapping manifestations or effectively masquerade as other entities. Unique some conditions, such conjugate torsion patients skew deviation, have been recently recognized and considered worthy emphasis because they significantly expand differential diagnosis. Indeed, assessment objective (and subjective when possible) is necessary component any comprehensive strabismological evaluation. Correction coexisting integrated into surgical plan, except serves compensatory function, deviation.
