A Novel Glyceraldehyde-3-Phosphate Dehydrogenase ( GAPDH ) Promoter for Expressing Transgenes in the Halotolerant Alga Dunaliella salina

摘要: A major challenge for efficient transgene expression in Dunaliella salina is to find strong endogenous promoters drive the expression. In present study, a novel glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase (GAPDH) promoter was cloned and used expressions of bialaphos resistance (bar) gene N-terminal fragment human canstatin (Can-N). The results showed that bar transcribed by GAPDH integrated into genome transformants D. salina. Furthermore, PCR identification, Southern western blots indicated Can-N expressed transgenic salina, demonstrating suitable driving heterologous genes
