摘要: In a study of 101 autopsy appendices and over 3000 surgically resected the range histopathological features seen in each group is described. Fibrosis faecoliths were more common older than younger group. The high incidence fibrosis suggests that this an age-related change, although some may be due to previous inflammation. low does not support hypothesis they are major cause appendicitis.
