Quality of urban patterns: Spatially explicit evidence for multiple scales

摘要: Many urban areas lack in quality of condition, thus affecting the life dwellers. Great efforts are made to develop new strategies for transforming existing patterns toward higher quality, which is related socio-economic, environmental, transportation, and other factors. The analysis possible transformations further requires considering their effects at a parcel scale up city region. This important, because gaining one local scale, e.g., housing supply, comes partly expense qualities, such as availability open space, recreation amenities regional scale.
