摘要: This study was designed to elucidate the relationship between enhanced cytoplasmic calcium levels (Ca2+i) and membrane phospholipid degradation, a key step in loss of cellular integrity during cardiac ischemia/reperfusion-induced damage. Isolated rat hearts were subjected 15 min ischemia followed by 30 reperfusion. Ca2+i estimated Indo-1 fluorescence ratio technique. Degradation phospholipids as indicated increase tissue arachidonic acid content assessed samples taken from myocardium at various points ischemia/reperfusion period. The hemodynamic parameters showed almost complete recovery Fluorescence increased significantly ischemia, but considerable heart-to-heart variation Based upon type change reperfusion, allotted two separate subgroups. Normalization associated with low post-ischemic levels. In contrast, elevated coincided observation is suggestive for Ca2+-related accumulation probably due calcium-mediated stimulation phospholipase A2.
