摘要: Methods and systems for defining adaptive support structures three dimensional (3D) printing are disclosed. An exemplary method detects an area of a 3D model needing generates contact points the area. The creates set virtual supports that extend downward from respective then identifies connections between in set, satisfying connection constraints. Next, is selected to be trunk based on comparing connectivity levels level each determined by number other supports. defines structure originating including trunk, at least one connected support.
