摘要: This paper constructs a Good Society Index for 45 African countries, termed the (GASI). The GASI consists of nine main indexes: (1) economic sustainability, (2) democracy and freedom, (3) child well-being, (4) environment infrastructure, (5) safety security, (6) health systems, (7) integrity justice, (8) education, (9) social sustainability cohesion. Each component is split into four sub-components total 36 indicators. Tunisia ranks highest on GASI, followed by Cape Verde Botswana. Chad has lowest score, Central Republic Cote d’Ivoire. strongly related to 2012 Human Development Fragile States Index, lesser extent, GNI per capita.
