摘要: Abstract The diarrhoea following massive resection of the distal small intestine is caused partly by an excess bile salts passing to colon and acting as a cathartic agent. Lignin, naturally occurring bile-salt sequestrating agent, has been used control this diarrhoea. It acts binding in colon.
