摘要: Small-angle neutron scattering was used to investigate the microstructure of high-temperature Lα phase in AOT/water/decane system [AOT = sodium bis(2-ethylhexyl) sulfosuccinate]. The modeled as randomly oriented lamellar stacks with a one-dimensional paracrystalline distortion. For samples injected into cells at high temperature, two-dimensional Q maps show anisotropic consistent partial alignment phase, while near room temperature do not exhibit this feature. From latter samples, it found that stack typically contains about 15 lamellae, 80 A apart. Each layer is coated by diffuse surfactant interface characteristic thickness approximately 9 A. fact spectra maxima beyond first order explained observation Hosemann g factor gives 20% variation interlamellar spacing. mean spacing inversely proportional concentration, expected for phase. Over-estimation zero-order predicted paracrystal model attributed primarily improper treatment contrast between each and space-filling matrix.
