摘要: Summary. Titanomagnetites of composition Fe2.4-δAlδTi0.6O4 and Fe2.6-δAlδTi0–4O4(δ=0, 0.1 0.2 in both cases) were prepared the monodomain state by pulverization sintered synthetic material. In low fields, thermoremanence (TRM) was found to be linear with inducing field high enough intensity account for typical natural remanent magnetizations fresh submarine basalts. The higher TRM acquisition curves follow Neel model curve an assemblage non-interacting identical particles a general way only, differences being due interactions, or range particle blocking temperatures volumes other features samples not included model. unblocking lie narrow below Curie point. is very resistant alternating demagnetization provides striking illustration strength mechanism preserving stable record weak magnetic field. result Lowrie-Fuller test on material consistent state.
