摘要: Abstract In order to determine whether an adrenergic mechanism is involved in the secretion of growth hormone and insulin, effect adrenergic-blocking or -stimulating agents on plasma human (HGH), immunoreactive blood free fatty acids (FFA), glucose levels was studied normal subjects. The intravenous infusion propranolol, a beta agent, caused rise HGH, transient decrease FFA, no significant change insulin. This increase HGH inhibited either by combined administration isoproterenol, adrenergic-stimulating along with propranolol oral loading immediately before start infusion. The concomitant epinephrine brought about comparable that produced alone, without any FFA. Alpha blockade phenotolamine significantly suppressed responses insulin-induced hypoglycemia arginine infusion, enhanced insulin response It also stimulated lipid mobilization significantly. The alpha agents, phenylephrine methoxamine, slight simultaneous phentolamine methoxamine. On contrary, stimulant, raised abolished propranolol. Another stimulator, isoxsuprine, FFA but not insulin. It concluded stimulation enhances inhibits fat mobilization, whereas stimulates secretion.
