摘要: Chronic consumption of diets high in resistant starch (RS) leads to reduced fat cell size compared digestible (DS) rats and increases total meal oxidation humans. The aim the present study was examine rate lipogenesis key lipogenic organs following a RS or DS meal. Following an overnight fast, male Wistar ingested with content 2% 30% carbohydrate were then administered i.p bolus 50 μCi 3H2O either immediately 1 hour post-meal. One tracer administration, sacrificed, blood sample collected, liver, white adipose tissue (WAT), gastrocnemius muscle excised frozen until assayed for 3H-lipid 3H-glycogen content. Plasma triglyceride NEFA concentrations did not differ between groups. In all tissues, except there trend be higher group than which reached significance only WAT at h (p < 0.01). On whole body level, this attenuation deposition response diet could significant prevention weight gain long-term.
