摘要: The high affinity immunoglobulin E receptor (FcepsilonRI) complex is dedicated to E-mediated allergic responses. Expression of the FcepsilonRI thought be relatively stable and limited mast cells, basophils, eosinophils, monocytes, Langerhans platelets, neutrophils. We now report that FcepsilonRIalpha FcepsilonRIgamma polypeptides are expressed in pinealocyte, melatonin-secreting cell pineal gland. Moreover, Fcer1a mRNA levels increased approximately 100-fold at night were higher than other tissues examined. Pineal protein also markedly from nearly undetectable daytime levels. Our studies indicate controlled by a well described neural pathway controls function. This includes master circadian oscillator suprachiasmatic nucleus passes through central peripheral structures. expression gland driven this circuit via an adrenergic/cyclic AMP mechanism. may represent previously unrealized molecular link between neuroendocrine immune systems.
