摘要: The development of peripheral lymphoid tissues from the mesoderm is result a complex convergence combining lymphohematopoietic differentiation with local specification nonhematopoietic mesenchymal components. Although various transcriptional regulators fate-determining effects in diversifying mobile leukocyte subsets have been thoroughly studied and identified, tissue-specific determinants promoting regional resident mesenchyme are less understood. Of these factors, members NK-class Nkx paralogues emerged as key for organogenesis spleen mucosal tissues, recent data also indicated their involvement pathological events, including gut inflammation hematopoietic malignancies. Here, we summarize available on roles Nkx2-3 tissue discuss its possible value developmental marker disease-associated pathogenic trait.
