摘要: Recent observations suggest that a large fraction of the energy density Universe has negative pressure. One explanation is vacuum density; another quintessence in form scalar field slowly evolving down potential. In either case, key problem to explain why nearly coincides with matter today. The densities decrease at different rates as expands, so coincidence today appears require their ratio be set specific, infinitesimal value early Universe. this paper, we introduce notion ``tracker field,'' quintessence, and show how it may coincidence, adding new motivation for scenario.
