摘要: In a previous study, it was shown that users of cochlear implant and contralateral hearing aid are sensitive to interaural time differences (ITDs). the current we investigated (1) influence on ITD sensitivity bilaterally varying place excitation in cochlea modulation frequency, (2) with 3-channel stimulus generated using continuous-interleaved-sampling (CIS)-like processing. The stimuli were high-frequency carrier (acoustic sinusoid single-electrode electric pulse train), modulated half-wave-rectified low-frequency (a so-called transposed stimulus), stimulus, by sending an acoustic click train through processing similar CIS strategy. Four bimodal listeners for both types. For first type, there no significant frequency. Performance decreased increasing frequency limit at around 150-200 Hz. Sensitivity single- stimulus. results indicate possibility perception adapted clinical processors, which can lead improved sound source localization binaural unmasking.
