摘要: While adolescents in India are facing a rapidly changing economic environment the life choices of adolescent girls different from those boys. Nearly half 20-24-year-old women married by age 18. Moreover most young have little say timing their marriage or choice spouse and after limited power within marital household. Adolescent much less likely to be engaged activities than boys; ages 15-19 over 40 per cent boys economically active compared about one-quarter girls.
