摘要: The concentration ratios of several proteins between serum and cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) can be correlated more easily to hydrodynamic volumes than molweights. Hydrodynamic radii were calculated from literature diffusion data determined by analytical column chromatography gel electrophoresis. Discrepancies molweight volume become evident, especially with the high-molecular because stronger conformational variability in this size range. permeability blood-CSF-barrier is compared blood-lymph-barrier results are discussed reference current views about capillary permeability. basement membrane, exposed lumen endothelial fenestrations considered most likely site protein passage at blood-CSF-barrier.
