摘要: A series of experiments examined the precursor to relational evaluation procedure (pREP). The pREP is capable facilitating derived responding, but it less effective than matching-to-sample (MTS) in producing equivalence class formation. Part 1 present study tested possible reasons for inferiority relative MTS. first two compared performances subjects on modified versions with their a simultaneous MTS procedure. modifications did not improve pREP. Experiment 3 delayed again was more equivalence. 2 determined whether responding could be facilitated by preexposing history training and testing. In 4, were trained until they reliably produced both symmetry equivalence, then exposed testing using same stimuli, relations among as employed Following this, novel stimuli. All familiar arid 5 stimulus sets across procedures necessary. Results showed that if shown followed immediately only out 4 successfully demonstrated latter
