摘要: Chronic treatment with gonadotrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) agonist eliminates luteinizing (LH) pulses and inhibits maturation of Graafian follicles in sheep. Since the presence 'dominant' may inhibit superovulatory responses, an experiment was conducted to determine whether a GnRH could be used conjunction follicle-stimulating (FSH) induce response production normal embryos. Twenty-four Welsh Mountain ewes were chronically treated by means subcutaneous minipump. Twelve given 12 mg progesterone intramuscularly (i.m.) twice daily for four days; all then 672 micrograms (total) highly purified FSH continually infused intravenously either 72 h (Group A) or 96 B) 2 x experimental design (n = 6). Ovulation induced 750 I.U. human chorionic gonadotrophin injected i.m. (Day 0) inseminated into uterus > 100 10(6) fresh sperm on Day 0. Embryos flushed from uterus, ovaries inspected at laparotomy 5. Pretreatment did not affect any parameters measured data pooled accordingly. There no differences between Groups A B number ovulations embryos recovered, although there more large unruptured Group animals (8.8 +/- 0.8 v. 3.1 0.7, P < 0.001). The embryo recovery rate higher (52.5 26.4, 0.05).(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)
