摘要: The phylogenetic diversity and community structure of members the gut anaerobic fungi (AF) (phylum Neocallimastigomycota) were investigated in 30 different herbivore species that belong to 10 mammalian reptilian families using internal transcribed spacer region-1 (ITS-1) ribosomal RNA (rRNA) region as a marker. A total 267 287 sequences representing all known fungal genera obtained this study. Sequences affiliated with genus Piromyces most abundant, being encountered 28 samples, 36% obtained. On other hand, Cyllamyces Orpinomyces least 2, 8 0.7%, 1.1% obtained, respectively. Further, 38.3% did not cluster previously identified formed eight phylogenetically distinct novel lineages. Some these lineages widely distributed (for example NG1 NG3), whereas others animal specific, only one or two animals NG4, NG6, NG7, NG8). impact various physiological environmental factors on AF was examined. results suggest host phylogeny exerts significant role shaping composition. These greatly expand documented global poorly studied group has an important function initiating plant fiber degradation during fermentative digestion ruminant non-ruminant herbivores.
