摘要: Uterine sarcomas are rare, accounting for 7–8% of all uterine cancers and less than 1% female genital tract cancers. Surgery is a cornerstone in the treatment, addition radiotherapy, chemotherapy or hormonal therapy depends on stage disease. Due to its rarity, heterogeneity aggressiveness, there no consensus scarce evidence regarding optimal therapeutic approaches. Our aim was study cases sarcoma terms clinical histopathological characteristics, prognostic factors outcome analysis. This retrospective histological proven identified between January 2001 December 2013 at Department Gynecologic Oncology, Gujarat Cancer Research Institute, Ahmedabad. The data patients’ tumor various treatment modalities, operative details, follow-up, recurrence survival were reviewed recorded. Total 57 included our study. Leiomyosarcoma most common type. Twenty-four 1 kept observation. Almost 50% patients recurred during period. Overall 64% survived till 3 years 53% 5 years follow-up. Twenty-six percent case died within first year completion treatment. management challenging due rare occurrence, lack guidelines adequate literature. Adjuvant should be individualized.
