摘要: Abstract Introduction Trait sexual motivation defines a psychological construct that reflects the long‐lasting degree of for activities, which is assumed to be result biological and sociocultural influences. With this definition, it shares commonalities with other sexuality‐related constructs like desire, drive, needs, compulsivity. Aim The Sexual Motivation Questionnaire (TSMQ) was developed in order measure trait its different facets. Methods Several steps were conducted: First, items composed assessing effort made gain sex, as well specific behaviors. Factor analysis data first sample (n = 256) conducted. Second, factor solution verified by confirmatory second (n = 498) validity demonstrated. Third, temporal stability TSMQ tested third study (n = 59). Main Outcome Measure data. Results exploratory analyses revealed best characterized four subscales: Solitary Sexuality , Importance Sex Seeking Encounters Comparison Others . It could shown test quality questionnaire high. Most importantly concept, retest reliability after 1 year r = 0.87. Conclusion Our results indicate indeed suitable tool measuring high validity.
