摘要: Reactions, in which compound-nuclear systems are formed as intermediate states, slow (the CN states have reached thermodynamic equilibrium before their decay) and involve many, if not all nucleons concerned. They manifest themselves by resonance phenomena excitation functions. may appear Breit-Wigner shaped single resonances, total widths revealing the lifetime of compound overlapping Ericson fluctuations, and—when averaged over many states—smooth cross sections described Hauser-Feshbach formalism. An important question is experimental distinction between DI processes latter become less towards higher energies). Angular distributions show symmetry about 90 degrees.
