摘要: Differences in the sources of information that physicians utilize their practice have several implications for quality care delivered and dissemination medical information. In order to examine extent differences preferences primary settings, 98 general internal medicine 73 family were asked indicate which six alternative they relied on most when faced with difficult problems. The alternatives were: journals, textbooks, informal consultations colleagues, community specialists, outside transfer patient another physician. results indicated internists a greater preference consulting literature, while more often rely colleagues specialists as These suggest focus through journals or textbooks may be effective internists, "educationally influential" vehicles physicians.
