摘要: Using published data and the results of our studies, we hypothesized that a critical level serum IgG antibodies to surface structures invasive pathogens (capsular polysaccharides Haemophilus influenzae type b, pneumococcus, meningococcus, Salmonella typhi, Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, O-specific polysaccharide LPS domain Shigella, non-typhoidal Salmonella, E. capsular polypeptide Bacillus anthraces) confer immunity these pathogens. Covalent attachment protein increases their immunogenicity bestows T-cell properties antigens. We have also shown pertussis toxin alone induces on both an individual community basis (herd immunity) Bordetella pertussis. It is likely all above conjugates toxoid will be incorporated into vaccines for routine infant immunization.
