摘要: Die Stammzellforschung hat in den letzten Jahren eine grose Faszination erzeugt. In ersten klinischen Studien zur Regeneration des Herzens waren nach der Transplantation von autologen Zellen jedoch geringere Funktionsverbesserungen erreicht worden, als die tierexperimentellen Daten zunachst erhoffen liesen. Zudem blieb lange ungeklart, wie eingebrachten positiven Effekt auf Herzfunktion ausuben, da keine neuen Herzmuskelzellen entstehen. Da viele Stammzellen bei ublichen Injektion ins ischamische Myokard verloren gingen, konnen alternativ ein „scaffold“ (resorbierbares Gerust) aufgebracht werden, um so moglichst Zahl an lebendigen das Zielareal aufzubringen. applizierten Stammzell-Patches verbessern durch Ausschuttung Zytokinen Herzfunktion.
